BOOKS 2 GO Review: Reviewed by Linda Sparks Welcome SPRING by reading one of our latest books on the shelf: BOOK REPORT from Linda Sparks: This is the fifth book in the Clan of the Cave Bear series- I felt like I was visiting an old friend when I started reading this book. Jondalar is returning home with Ayla to the home of the Zelandoni people of the Ninth Cave, he had been gone for five years. She is well received by his family, but some of the people from their cave do not like Ayla. They show the people some of the new things they have learned, like using a spear thrower and starting fire with two rocks. BOOK REPORT from Bobbi Eastwood: I love Tony Hillerman books. I love reading about the Four Corners Indian Reservation and about the Indian myths and legends, beliefs and rituals, and, additionally, reconnecting with the interesting and likeable characters who walk through his pages. In his latest book, The Wailing Wind, Hillerman brings Jim Chee and Lieutenant Leaphorn back together to find connections between an old unsolved mystery and a new unsolved mystery. The searches for a lost gold mine and a wife missing for years lead them to a surprising discovery. I know you will enjoy traveling down this road with them.
